Our group of 6 trail riders stopped in for dinner after a fun day on the trails. Great service and food! I enjoyed a Grilled Cheese Burger, and a margarita, delicious! Not a complaint among our group. Definitely recommend.

We were in town riding as most are and came across this place. Fantastic service and food each day we stopped by. One day we ran 40 miles back just to eat here again we liked it so much. Great place to stop for lunch or dinner. Highly recommend the pretzel

You will not be disappointed visiting here. The food and the atmosphere is amazing. Not to mention the waitresses, as well as the owner Jamie made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in the door. Even the locals treated us out-of-towners like family and made our group feel more then welcome. 10/10 recommend traveling here over any other bar!!

The giant pretzel was soo good. Regular fries tasted like they were just deep fried frozen fries so not great but the sidewinder fries were fresh and tasted good. Definitely worth it to stop in after a day of riding!

After a 6 Hour drive of only eating mostly snack food we were delighted and very pleased with the amazing appetizers and entrees. Not to mention the staff, atmosphere, and food were all fantastic.

I visited the Trailhead Bar and Grill for dinner on Thursday and Friday night. They were packed but our food came just as we ordered it. I ate a club sandwich and sidewinder fries on Thursday and Catfish on Friday. They were both 10/10. I spoke to the owner and he said he hand breads the catfish himself. The prices were amazing too!! All my friends were raving about their food choices. Matewan is our favorite of all the places we go trail riding! We picked a great time to go. The fall leaves were beautiful! We will definitely be back.

Super friendly staff, especially "Ally Cat" the bartender. I got the Southwest Egg Rolls which were delicious, and my uncle got the Philly Steak loaded fries.. I think I ate more than he did! They were so good I needed a piece of bread to clean the plate . Just a great little spot for food and drinks after a day on the trail!
